Advantages of booking directly with The Imperial (compared to booking through external travel sites):

  1. Shorter No Refund Cancellation Period. (Bookings via third party booking sites have a 1 week No Refund Cancellation Period compared to 3 days when you book directly with us.)
  2. Free date changes if you make a mistake with your booking within the No Refund Period, or sudden illness prevents you from travelling on the day. (This is not available for bookings made through third-party travel booking sites). Date changes are subject to availability and must be used within 3 months of the original booking.
  3. No credit card fees for payments by MasterCard or VISA when you book directly with us (We no longer accept AMEX). (Credit card fees are applied to all third-party travel booking sites).
  4. Priority for upgrades or room choices. (Not available for bookings through third-party travel booking sites)
  5. Discounts for single travellers and longer stays. (Not available for bookings through third-party travel booking sites).
  6. More personalised and better able to respond to queries and provide advice regarding restaurant recommendations, travelling routes, things to do, and special requirements/requests, and so on.
  7. Your money stays in Australia. The booking fees we pay to external booking sites currently go to The Netherlands or the USA.
